The American Music Awards was held on Monday night and guess what, Justin Bieber took home 4 awards which by not should not be a surprise for people out there.
While receiving his awards, Justin Bieber said he could not stop smiling. He also said that the awards he received was amazing and he does not know how it was even possible for him to be winning those awards.
For his awards receiving speech, he thanked everyone from his family including fans and also the late Micheal Jackson. He grabbed the awards for the Favorite Male Pop/Rock Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Album for his "My World 2.0", T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist of the Year and finally the ultimate awards from the AMA which was the Artist of the Year award.
When he was nodding while thanking the fans out there he added that "And I wanna thank Michael Jackson, because without Michael Jackson none of us would be here. He greatly respected Micheal Jackson for what he had did for the music industry in the US, including making the move "moon walk" popular and also the 45 degrees move.
Earlier that night, Justin Bieber had the opportunity to perform on stage. With the opportunity, he performed his new single "Pray" which a much more mature voice then usual which was backed up by a gospel choir and he also dropped to his knees for a great finish of his performance. He was dressed with a pair of sparkly shoes, covered himself with a white jacket and black cuffs which made him look like a young Micheal Jackson.
His performance for the show was one of the spectacular shows put for the audience. Other artist that performed that night was Kesha, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Bon Jovi , New Kids from the Block, Backstreet Boys, Kid Rock and also not forgetting his mentor, Usher.
