The nominations for the inaugural Manchester Legal Awards have been announced. Cheshire solicitors Rowlinsons have been shortlisted for the prestigious Small Law Firm of the Year award. The judging panel stated that the nomination for Rowlinsons, solicitors in Cheshire was based on the growth of the firm during a difficult economic climate, recruitment and development, innovation and quality of service.
The awards are open to solicitors not only based within Manchester, but also the surrounding areas, including Chester solicitors, solicitors Ellesmere Port, solicitors Northwich, solicitors Runcorn and also solicitors in St Helens. The Manchester Legal Awards covered 17 categories ranging from individual awards such as Trainee of the year to Outstanding Achievement, and business awards such as Team of the Year including sectors such as Employment and Property up to Law Firm of the year with more than 20 partners.
The nomination of Rowlinsons is all the more impressive due to the substantial number of long list nominations for the Manchester Legal Awards. Fran Eccles-Bech, Executive Director at the Manchester Law Society, said: "We've been blown away by the fantastic reaction to the awards from the region's legal profession, and genuinely stunned by the number and quality of entries we received".
Denis Stevenson, Managing Director of Rowlinsons, commented "We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award and feel that this reflects the dedication and hard work of our team over the last 12 months. I believe that it truly confirms our reputation as a forward thinking, dynamic and client focused legal practice".
