- You have to first install the Yahoo Messenger for mobile program and then open it. You can open it by selecting All Programs > Yahoo Messenger. Once done, just click on the yellow smiley icon.
- As mentioned earlier you need to have a valid Yahoo ID in order to use Yahoo chat. Once you see the window of the Yahoo mobile Messenger, put your password and ID in the text boxes.
- Once you successfully log-in, you will be then taken towards the main interface of Yahoo Chat. This means that you are now all-set to chat with people.
- Select any one name from your contacts list (if any). If you join a chat room then you’ll find many people online. However, you’ll come to know who’s online if the yellow button glows next to the name of the person. You should then double-click on the person’s name and then type your messages in the box provided in the window and then press the Enter Key, this way your message will be sent to the other person.
You will come to know when the other person has responded to your message when the chat window present at the task bar flashes. You can make your experience of chatting exciting by simply connecting a web cam.
